I like the idea of having something free for ACRL members as a way of adding value to our membership (beyond the traditional print journals). I also think the "embargo" idea is a good one -- free to ACRL members for 6 months, say, and then open up the archived materials to the rest of the world for free. Great idea — yay for ACRL. I believe it should be because that would attract members. As an ALA member on a tight budget, I can't join all of the divisions I would like to. I am currently a LITA member but I am thinking of dropping it when renewal time comes up for me. I would probably join ACRL. I understand why its not free.
